Want to be part of the YMCA Father’s Day Fun Run team?!

As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, learn and develop news skills – and most importantly have fun. The YMCA Father’s Day Fun Run is so awesome that you won’t be able to wipe the smile off your face!

We’re looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer on Father’s Day (Sunday 3 September, 2017). Your responsibility will be to help us create a fun, positive, and contagiously happy environment. Oh, and give out high fives! Plenty of high fives!

You’ll also be contributing to the bigger picture. Dads and father figures play a vital role in the lives of the young people close to them, helping build healthy relationships. Today, more young people than ever suffer from mental illness like depression, anxiety, and lack these key relationships in their lives. The YMCA Father’s Day Fun Run is raising funds for YMCA programs that build resilience and equip vulnerable young people with social and emotional skills to safeguard against the onset of mental illness.
